Perhaps the most traditional of all glass vessels,
the vase is a functional form that also offers
a wonderful canvass for design.
The vases here are designs beginning in 2007.

Traditionally, glass vessels are made with a clear 'skin' of clear glass over a layer of colored glass. When thick enough, this leaves a visible layer of clear at the bottom. These bottles dramatize this layered effect by placing a second, complementary color as the 'skin.' The result is a sharp contrast across an assortment of shapes.
